The DPS is run by the Government Commercial Agency (GCA), formerly the Crown Commercial Service. It gives organisations across central government, the wider public sector and the charity sector an established route to procure AI services from approved suppliers.
Klarus is now listed on the DPS and can be found by buyers as part of their procurement activity.
What the AI DPS covers
RM6200 supports public sector organisations across the AI lifecycle, from early discovery through to implementation and ongoing support. It covers:
- AI discovery and consultancy services
- Implementation and support of AI systems
- End-to-end AI partnerships
- AI technologies and data and machine learning support
Buyers can search for suppliers by type of engagement, AI technology and sector. The DPS is available to organisations including central and local government, devolved administrations, health bodies and not-for-profit organisations.
The appointment process
Appointment to the DPS requires suppliers to meet a defined set of requirements. As part of the process, Klarus provided evidence of Cyber Essentials certification, a published Modern Slavery Statement and relevant insurance cover. The process also included financial due diligence against the company’s DUNS number.

What this means for public sector buyers
Eligible UK public sector and charitable organisations can now procure Klarus services through the DPS for AI discovery, implementation and ongoing support.
The framework provides a trusted procurement route and confirms that Klarus has completed the supplier requirements set for appointment to RM6200.
